From 2 May to 13 May 2018, Cover, the management company of Hololive, held a VTuber audition to look for individuals who have experience in live streaming and video uploading and want to challenge themselves as VTubers. Nagisa Shiota is the main protagonist and narrator of Assassination Classroom. He is a student in Korosensei's Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School who has a natural talent for assassination despite his overall passive nature.
