Milla had stolen a study guide for her, and that night, she helped Yana understand the concepts she had been struggling with. It was the first act of kindness Yana had ever experienced. From that night forward, they engaged in clandestine study sessions, finally giving Yana a chance to catch up and excel in her courses. As the years passed, Yana and Mila grew inseparable.
