I got inspired by the work of Rufus Butler Seder and I wanted to challenge the whole concept of animation as it is commonly understood here on YTMND (that is, a succession of pictures compressed into a GIF or APNG file.) This YTMND is technically not an animation but a series of still pictures covered by a layer of scrolling black bars. The result is an optical illusion that gives the impression that something is moving behing the bars and the brain automatically reconstructs the image.
