On 7 October 2023, during the Re'im music festival massacre, Shani Nicole Loukwas killed. Shortly after the attack, a video circulated showing her body paraded through the streets of Gaza by Hamas militants in the back of a pickup truck. Described by security experts and commentators as Hamas's social media propaganda, it became one of the first viral videos of the Israel–Hamas war. At the end of the month, Israel confirmed Louk's death based on the discovery of a skull fragment on the road leading out of the festival grounds, indicating that she was killed during the attack, while trying to escape. Kat must search for the mystical Chartstones to get to Hawke which requires her braving the dangerous and savage islands of the Five Seas infested with Hawke’s men, the Crimson Guard. Throughout the game, Kat confronts dangerous creatures and savages, completes quests for island inhabitants in return for help, wage naval battles against the Crimson Guard, collect magical objects and artifacts, booty and unearth buried treasure which she can use to upgrade her ship. She also discovers the truth about her mother, Mara, and ultimately avenges her father’s death by defeating the evil Captain Hawke.

Planet Terror is a 2007 American action comedy horror film written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. Set in Texas, the film follows the survivors of a biochemical outbreak as they battle zombie-like creatures and a rogue military unit. Nagisa Shiota is the main protagonist and narrator of Assassination Classroom. He is a student in Korosensei's Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School who has a natural talent for assassination despite his overall passive nature. Nagisa is the son of Hiromi Shiota and her presumable ex-husband.
