Planet Terror is a 2007 American action comedy horror film written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. Set in Texas, the film follows the survivors of a biochemical outbreak as they battle zombie-like creatures and a rogue military unit. It stars Rose McGowan, Freddy Rodriguez, Michael Biehn, Jeff Fahey, Josh Brolin, and Marley Shelton. The film was originally released theatrically as part of Grindhouse, a double feature that combined Planet Terror with Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof. After Grindhouse underperformed at the domestic box office, Planet Terror was released as a standalone feature in other countries and on home media. It received positive reviews, with most critics considering it the superior of Grindhouse's two films.

April Jeanette Mendez is an American author, screenwriter and retired professional wrestler. She is best known for her time in WWE under the ring name AJ Lee. Mendez began her professional wrestling career in 2007 in New Jersey's independent circuit. She signed with WWE in 2009 and spent two years in its developmental branch, Florida Championship Wrestling, before her promotion to the main roster. In 2012, she rose to prominence through storylines with her "mentally unstable" character, such as high-profile relationships and a three-month stint as the General Manager of Raw. In subsequent years, she won the Divas Championship a record-tying three times and held the title for an overall record of 406 days. She also won the Slammy Award for Diva of the Year in 2012 and 2014, and readers of Pro Wrestling Illustrated voted her Woman of the Year from 2012 to 2014. She retired from in-ring performing in 2015. Mendez's 2017 memoir, Crazy Is My Superpower, was a New York Times Best Seller.

Arcee is an Autobird in Angry Birds Transformers. Despite being heavily featured in early advertisements and artwork for the game, Stella-as-Arcee was not actually in the game for a very long time. By the time she was added to the playable roster, the original heavily-Generation-1-Arcee design was changed to be more of a merger of Generation 1 and Prime Arcee, complete with a motorcycle alternate mode. In celebration of the launch of the Angry Birds Transformers game, a costumed actress portrayed Arcee Bird and interacted with fans young and old at New York Comic Con 2014 (despite not being in the game at the time).

In TNA, she is a former TNA Knockouts Champion. Along with Bennett, she returned to WWE from 2017 to 2020 and held the WWE 24/7 Championship once, and as it was during her pregnancy, that made her the first ever pregnant champion in WWE history.

On 7 October 2023, during the Re'im music festival massacre, Shani Nicole Loukwas killed. Shortly after the attack, a video circulated showing her body paraded through the streets of Gaza by Hamas militants in the back of a pickup truck. Described by security experts and commentators as Hamas's social media propaganda, it became one of the first viral videos of the Israel–Hamas war. At the end of the month, Israel confirmed Louk's death based on the discovery of a skull fragment on the road leading out of the festival grounds, indicating that she was killed during the attack, while trying to escape. Nagisa Shiota is the main protagonist and narrator of Assassination Classroom. He is a student in Korosensei's Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School who has a natural talent for assassination despite his overall passive nature. His mother had hoped for a daughter so she could experience all the things she had missed as a child through her but got a son instead. As a result, she dictated his life from forcing him to keep his hair long, to being forced to cross-dress and verbally abused him whenever he spoke against her. Her personality also caused her husband to leave her and Nagisa. Nagisa was in Class D during his first two years of middle school before falling into Class 3-E due to poor grades. During those two years, he hung out with fellow classmate Karma Akabane, although they slowly drifted apart before becoming classmates again. Soon after starting the new term as a Class E student, Nagisa met Kaede Kayano, who gave him what would become his signature pigtails instead of the ponytail he usually uses to keep his long hair from being less noticeable, thus beginning their friendship.

The project was created by Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier, and stars Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault. It is a live-action adaptation of the original animated series, The Powerpuff Girls that aired on Cartoon Network from 1998 to 2005. On May 24, 2021, it was announced that the pilot was going to be re-developed. As of May 11, 2022, the project was still said to be in development, However two months later it was announced that Craig McCracken is developing an newer version of the show for Cartoon Network Finally on May 18, 2023 the project was announced as dead.

On 8 December 2024, the Syrian Arab Republic under Bashar al-Assad collapsed amid major offensives by the Syrian opposition (led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and supported by allied Turkish-backed rebel groups in the Syrian National Army) as part of the Syrian civil war that began in 2011. The fall of Damascus marked the end of the Assad family regime, which had ruled Syria as a totalitarian hereditary dictatorship since Hafez al-Assad assumed the presidency in 1971 as a result of the Corrective Revolution. As the Southern Operations Room, a rebel coalition, encroached on Damascus while attempting to find the former president, reports emerged that Assad had fled the capital on a plane. The Syrian rebels subsequently declared victory against the Assad government on state television, while Russia's foreign ministry announced Assad's resignation and departure from Syria. Russia subsequently reported that it had given Assad and his family asylum.

She had four half brothers from her fathers first marriage. Her father was a harshly abusive alcoholic and her brothers regularly harassed her over being from a different mother. Her mother ran off when she was 14 not being able to handle the abuse any longer. Heleena developed a very strong constitution due to fighting her father and brothers all the time. When she was 17 she too had enough and ran off. Wandering the streets without any idea what to do. Until a Gypsy ran circus that toured Europe came around. She joined them taking any odd job she could get. Cleaning up mostly. One day a very large Russian man, Ivan Svorsky approached her and offered to train her noticing her reslove and stone attitude. First training to be the Strong Woman of the show since he began to be a bear wrestler. When Ivan was brutally injured by a bear during a show she took the beast on herself and accidentally killed it. Rather than being angry Ivan was proud and made her the new bear wrestling attraction while he recovered. When she was 24 she began finding new paths into professional fighting and wrestling to make more money. When Ivan passed away from cancer when she was 25, she left the circus and moved to the US to pursue her new fighting career. Now she hops promotion to promotion for MMA and Professional Wrestling. Wanting to be an example to all that no matter the struggle you experience, so long as you keep fighting, you never truly lose. You never lose until you quit and give up. The CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, was fatally shot in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning, according to a police report, New York Times reported. Thompson, 50, was walking towards the New York Hilton Hotel, dressed in a suit and tie, to attend a UnitedHealthcare conference being held in the hotel’s ballroom, when a gunman opened fire from approximately 20 feet away, striking Thompson multiple times in the chest. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD reported.

Kim Petras is a German singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Between 2016 and 2020, she released music as an independent artist under her own imprint, BunHead Records, before signing with Amigo and Republic Records in 2021. Petras began recording music as a teenager.
