Genocyber: The Beauty Devil from Psychic World is a 1992 Japanese manga series by Tony Takezaki. One volume of the manga has been published, but the multi-volume story arc remains unfinished. The published book was adapted by Koichi Ohata into a five-part original video animation (OVA) series in 1994. The plot of the anime differs significantly from the manga. Both are notable for their extreme graphic violence. The OVA was produced by Bandai Visual and released in North America by U.S. Manga Corps. Genocyber was also released by Manga Entertainment's UK and Australian Divisions in The Cyberpunk Collection but only episodes 1-3 were released in these regions; this collection also included two other cyberpunk OVAs, Cyber City Oedo 808 and A.D. Police Files. The remaining two parts were not released into English until U.S. Manga Corp obtained the rights and had Central Park Media dub the remaining two episodes that were not dubbed by Manga UK.

The man was shown being discovered by her crew in a prison, hidden under a blanket, later being told he was free to go and shown walking out gripping Ward’s arm. However, he looked well and his cell was clean. CNN has denied staging the report and has defended Ward. After this report, Syrian fact-checking group Verify-Sy found that the man gave a fake identity. CNN would later confirm the man featured was an intelligence officer, and not an ordinary citizen who had been imprisoned. First identifying himself as Adel Ghurbal, he was later found to be Salama Mohammad Salama, a lieutenant in the Assad regime's Air Force Intelligence Directorate.

Princess Yona/Lena/Rina is the titular protagonist of the manga and anime series, Akatsuki no Yona. Yona, with her newfound, burning resolve to live and to protect those dear to her, traveled throughout the kingdom to find the legendary Dragon Warriors, who helped her find a new purpose and meaning in friendship. Along the way, Yona undertook training in archery and swordsmanship with Hak. Throughout her journey, Yona started to realize that her father was not a king widely loved by his people due to his apparent cowardice and desire to maintain peace and avoid conflict at all costs, even if it would mean weakening Kouka Kingdom. She began to understand that Soo-Won had usurped the throne to fix King Il's mistakes and to turn Kouka into a powerful nation. However, she too decided to protect her father's people in his stead and to make amends in some way in her position as princess. Along the way, she changed from a sweet but naive girl, to a fearless and toughened warrior, while still maintaining grace, compassion and integrity.
