It was ten years ago today. I was an anti social 16 year old who hated a lot of things but loved stupid internet humor. I signed into YTMND and decided to create my first site. It was a tribute to Colonel Saunders. I am now a 26 year old man who isn't quite as anti social and miserable as I used to be but I still have some work to do. I haven't been here in years but I came back for this day.

[b]This is not an animation[/b]. Look at the assets and you'll know why. I got inspired by the work of Rufus Butler Seder and I wanted to challenge the whole concept of animation as it is commonly understood here on YTMND (that is, a succession of pictures compressed into a GIF or APNG file.) This YTMND is technically not an animation but a series of still pictures covered by a layer of scrolling black bars. The result is an optical illusion that gives the impression that something is moving behing the bars and the brain automatically reconstructs the image.
