The existence of the Hillary Clinton victory magazine made me think of what the world would be like if she, or a different candidate won, so I decided to do some more mock-ups of alternate 2016 election winners. This is a mock-up of a cover for Republican Party candidate Jimmy McMillan. He actually started his own small political party, The Rent Is Too Damn High party, in 1993, and ran for numerous political offices in the state of New York and for several national U.S. offices, including the 2012 and 2016 Presidential elections. I wonder how the direction of the United States would change with such an unorthodox candidate becoming president. Anyway, enjoy!

This, however, is the ACTUAL magazine that was sold by Topix/Newsweek as the results were being counted, before it was obvious that Donald Trump would win the election, as opposed to Hillary Clinton, who was thought to be the inevitable winner. Only 17 copies of this Hillary Clinton victory magazine were sold before Topix had them pulled due to Trump's surprise victory. These magazines are now collector's items. Enjoy!

Since it is Friday the 13th on the day this site was made, I have also wanted to pay tribute to some dead celebrities yet again. Freddy Krueger wore a fedora similar to Leonard Cohen, so I decided to depict Leonard Cohen as Freddy Krueger for that reason. RIP 1934-2016 Not only was 1984 the year that Hallelujah was released, but also the year that Nightmare On Elm Street was first released. George Michael was also a good musician who signed to Columbia Records who had hit songs released in 1984 such as wake me up before you go go. I couldn't think of any other celebrities to portray as Jason Vorhees, whom was from the movie Friday The 13th, which is why I made this site. The movie Freddy Vs. Jason had a character named Lori Cambell, a trumatized teen whom had Leonard Cohen's initials.

Republican National Committee Co-Chair Sharon Day urged Trump’s detractors to stop fighting his election, now that his victory is affirmed. “This historic election is now officially over and I look forward to President-elect Trump taking the oath of office in January,” she said in a statement. “For the good of the country, Democrats must stop their cynical attempts to undermine the legitimacy of this election, which Donald Trump won decisively in the Electoral College with more votes than any Republican since 1988.” Elector antics were few and far between throughout the day, with most the disruptions occurring on the Democratic side. A Democratic elector in Maine tried to vote for Sen. Bernie Sanders, but switched to Clinton after it was ruled improper. Another who tried to vote for Sanders in Minnesota was replaced; a Colorado elector who tried to back Ohio Gov. John Kasich likewise was replaced. One of the biggest deviations was in Washington state, where three electors voted for Colin Powell and one voted for “Faith Spotted Eagle;” the remaining eight went to Clinton, the state’s winner. Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman vowed to work with the state attorney general and charge the four unfaithful electors with a violation of Washington state civil law. Trump’s clear Electoral College victory could serve to deter any further last-ditch efforts to effectively nullify his November win and prevent his inauguration, though the battle may shift next to his Cabinet picks.
