The CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, was fatally shot in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning, according to a police report, New York Times reported. Thompson, 50, was walking towards the New York Hilton Hotel, dressed in a suit and tie, to attend a UnitedHealthcare conference being held in the hotel’s ballroom, when a gunman opened fire from approximately 20 feet away, striking Thompson multiple times in the chest. Kim Petras is a German singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles.
