This was one of only two Pokémon episodes to provoke an emotional response in me. (Yes, I cried too.) The other one was that episode with the nurse who hated Water Pokémon because she thought they attacked her when she was a kid... Even after she learned that they didn't really attack her, they were playing, she STILL hated Water Pokémon. I got so mad at her then that I broke a lamp.
