Heh, I was there actually. But seriously, the Sox need to win to get people to show up, the Cubs just need to show up for people to show up. There's no disputing which team is more popular. Why do the Cubs even try to win if people are going to show up anyway? Maybe that's why they haven't won a championship for almost 100 years. Or maybe they're just golly gosh darn cursed, yeah that must be it, right? The Cubs base seems to glorify losing, the Sox don't.
