reacting to somebody's websites by downvoting them in retaliation is the more immature and pointless thing that I can think of, and only encourages anonymous downvoting. In fact, most of the users who care about thier ytmnd ratings never leave a negative comment. It is because of this behavior that we see so much upvoting of crap sites.
