L-systems are fun
Looking for some new 3DS plugins, I stumbled upon an l-system plugin by Blur Studios. It contained some groovy presets and the recursion level was animatable by way of keyframes. Slap a pretty shader on it, render and presto! Psychadelic fractal geometry

$20 says you don't know what an L-system is. For that matter, I don't know much about 'em either though, so 5'd.

Well in this case it's a parser for 3D turtle scripts that define the procedural growth of an object starting with a cylinder. It allows you to define growth distance, scale and rotation as well as spawning new children at a given recursion depth. It also allows specific placement of vertices and polygons. It's generally used for plants, but there are plenty of other things you can do with it. Now where's my $20?

^ lol. You can hold down the "B" button for continuous firing.
