YTMND fan gone.

This here was my faithful companion for 14 years. He watched every ytmnd fad with me silently in the chair. Please just let this ytmnd be my way of goodbye to him.

Yes, it's sad, a dog died. Lots of people die everyday and there's no ytmnds about them, 32 just died in a train crash in spain yesterday. If someone made a YTMND about that if their brother or friend died, you think it would get 4.4 rate? No, it wouldn't. I'm sorry for opeth49 but it doesn't make sense to upvote this because if It was a person I know people wouldn't care, and that's retarded.
To the downvoters that are saying sh*t like "why do i care?" Well, I certainly don't care about you. Does that mean I should show up at your house tomorrow with a sledgehammer and crush your family's skulls while they sleep? If you read the description, the site was made because the dog, yes the dog, was a ytmnd fan. Have a heart.

xioyux. society in our time, after 4 centuries of stage dramatics, 2 centuries of newspaper obituaries and war reports and a century of media relating the horrors of death, war, murder and accident in the most graphic detail, is inured to the concept of human mortality. our own is a long way away, and so is the poor and unprivilegeds. cute fluffy animals, though, those we can empathise with. welcome to the 21st century. please hand your humanity in at the door.
While it's true that people die everyday, the probability of someone losing a pet is greater than someone losing a relative, especially on this site where the average age of users is probably 16-24. This means that most people can relate to this YTMND and sympathize. Besides, in many ways pets can be better than humans.
My cat Patches lost her eyesight completely and suddenly when she was 18. I cuddled with her a lot more and helped her around the house, and suddenly about a month later she could see again. Everyone thought we had to put her to sleep, but she actually did pretty well blind, and the miraculous restoration of her vision was a huge relief, like God gave us more time with her. She had a great life for another year until we had to put her to sleep.
Why dont we care when people die? Because "people" is a statistic! There are "6 Billion People" There is only one "My Pet" or "My relative" or "My Friend", even if you have many, the one that dies is "My Pet" I hate these YTMND's, reminds me too much of my dog Meg, last thing I said to her was "Go on, get out, go to bed...." I never saw her again........... sh*t ive gone Emo.... :
Xioyux; Nobody here gives a s*** about some people in Spain that we don't even know. I can realize that the family and friends of the people are probably STILL mourning. But losing a pet can scar you for years, and years. Now, let's face it. Humans havn't exactly given the rest of us a good name, what with all of the polluting, killing, child and animal abuse, and everything else, such as yourself, that has contributed something that did absolutily nothing to help, and we're pretty evil and impure for ItAll
Continued; However, dogs, and other pets alike are innocent. They live with us for shelter and food and everything, but also for love and compasion. Humans only live with eachother for sex, and, even though it is a good reason, just all around populating. Pets supply us with company in hard times, friendship, and a feeling of being wanted. Dogs, such as this one, trust us very much. So much that, even after being abused, they return to their master, seeking love and, hoefully, a friend back.
Humans know when they can't trust somebody anymore, so they leave and never see the other person again. Dogs will stay with you always and forever. And the fact that, yes, thousand of people die each year, it's not possible to form a bond as strong as one with a pet, with a human. Humans can live for over a 100 years, whereas a pet can only live for about 10, to 15 at the most. You can make a friend with a human any time you want to, for as long as you want. But with pets, you work your way up to get-
-their trust. And when you do get it, they will be the best friend you ever had. There are, like the previous poster said, over 6 billion people on the planet. By those standards, why SHOULD we care when only 20 or 30 people die? Sorry for sounding a little dark there, but when a human dies, it can be very visible, from the day they get sick, or hurt. With pets, it's much more devistating because the sickness or physical damage comes out of nowhere, and works fast, like how this dog died, or if your dog-
"Lots of people die, like, all the time and no one cries for them, etc..."
Okay Mr. Sensitive, make a site for them. I'm sure with the overwhelming and tremendous amount of empathy you harbor for each and every one of them it will be exponentially more compassionate than this site is.
A man's canine loss is every bit as touching today as it was since the first time it happened. It always will be. No matter how many people die.
