This isn't piracy - it's exactly the sort of thing that gets blocked when antipiracy nuts go too gung-ho. Nobody who sees this will be so satisfied with the experience that it will prevent them from paying for a ticket to SoaP - if anything, fair use like this, for critical and artistic purposes, increases the profile and appeal of the source.
I was there - not that specific theater, but at assorted 10PMs and midnights across the country, this happened, and I was there. To those who didn't attend these showings of Snakes on a Plane... I don't want to say you've completely missed out on life, but it was truly one of the most remarkably experiences I've ever had.
god that was a blast, I'm so glad I saw the 10PM showing, the energy of the crowd was amazing, we were screaming and cheering like the whole time, and during the entire set of previews we were booing and hissing and demanding more snakes ^_^ to all LI AMC goers who went last night, I love you guys, you made that the best movie I've EVER seen. btw, where was Kel?
The rating of this ytmnd is an insult to all the other people who actually spend some time making ytmnds. This is probably one of the first ytmnds that I've 2'd, but it deserves it. If you are going to make a SoaP ytmnd, at least spend some time working on it instead of spending maybe 10 minutes converting and cropping the image and audio.
@Platinum-Sonic-10: Didn't spend enough time? I paid money for a ticket, shot the video myself, uploaded the video to my comp, ripped the frames, cropped, resized, ripped audio, edited and converted the audio. I then spent 30 minutes alone timing the frames to make a nice sync. Then, I compressed the video and made a link for everyone to see the unedited video. I did a LOT more than most do for their ytmnd's.
