Flight Simulator X Is Optimized for Good Gamin' Rigs!
Microsoft Games has really outdone themselves this time. Not only did they manage to get an ancient game engine (dating back to FS 2000) get even buggier, they've also managed to make it load and run slow as hell on even the fastest machines.

Haha, Nice... but then again if it's screen off your PC you musn't have a top of the line PC. They can't make an awesome looking game for Crappy PCs, either upgrade your PC or Play FS2004 or 2002 or 2000 even... How about Flight Simulator 1.0

Heh, ok. Too bad the game actually looks crappier than FS2004, which runs 75 fps nearly all the time at full detail

And Also, it's not even released yet, PLUS, they'll most likely work on patches for all the bugs. How about you stop Complaining and you go make an awesomely realistic FLight Simulator?... Oh wait, you can't? Don't know how? Well I'd suggest you stfu until you can make something better. People that complain over things they couldn't dream of doing piss me off

I love the logic about not being able to complain if I can't single-handedly create a competing product. Maybe I don't like my car, but I should keep quiet since I can't engineer a better one. Secondly, this is the post-gold demo version that supposedly has tons of bug fixes and performance improvements over last month's beta. I have yet to see a single improvement myself, and I don't expect any because the Flight Simulator series of games historically has very few [minor] patches released.

Well then Don't get the game. Funny though how I find people that aren't complaining and are enjoying uh? I guess your FSX copy just hates you, too bad.

A game that runs like it does on a 6800GS tends not to get my dollar :) You kind of have to wonder how other people are taking in the game when even X-Play's (on G4TV) review shows it choking even with the settings obviously turned way down. Finally, I apologize that my YTMND wasn't able to make you sit back and enjoy a small, lighthearted joke about load times.

3200+ and a 6800GS is a "Good Gaming rig" I call it low end. Also if you actually read the Help inside FSX, it tells you that the hardware isnt out yet to run FSX maxed out. it says you be able to run it max out in 2 to 3 years. Also you think FS9 run Maxed out back when it came out 3 years ago? On the hardware that was out like 5900s? no, My Copy of FS9 didnt run smooth unitl i got my 6800GT. and its been this way ever since the frist flight simulator came out. My Frist FS was 4.0 on my 286 and it

.... and it killed it, and its been the same way since, ever 3 to 4 years a new FS came out and i had to get a new pc. If FS9 was your frist FS i understand, But FSX is made for the 8800GT and other DX10 cards which come out in Nov and next year

Heh, try not to look too far into the title. It's just sarcasm that it runs slow on even the fastest machines. It doesn't refer to mine, which is merely a midrange system on a budget.

I run a 1.6 GHz AMD, with 512 megs RAM. I actually have time to make scrambled eggs.
