What the guy doesn't take into account is that the game system was develped in Japan. The Japanese have a LOT more disposable income than Americans do, since they don't see the point in saving up for a house or a car or whatever, because there are so many people there, those things are too expensive or too impractical to be worth the money. A $600 system with $100 games isn't that big of a deal in Japan.
