I fail to grasp conservative humour

well, for one, if your'e not a conservative and if its not meant for you theres a problem there. the actual cartoon here though, it was nonpartisan, i think the only noteworthy thing with this artist was that its an extremely unfunny cartoon on a website with very right wing beliefs. it would be like if thismodernworld.com replaced Tom Tomorrow's political cartoons with Marmaduke.
there are actually many funny conservatives. i'd consider them more libertarian than republican, but well... i think you're going to get more crazy material from a general total freedom from government fanatic like Doug Stanhope than someone making jokes about abortion being bad. i think there would be a lot more funny right wing conservatives if they were less scared of offending the "moral" segment of the right. most of the best liberal comedians i could name have little in common with the "lets take the word gun out of reading lists" segment of the left. I mean I saw Larry the Cable Guy call David Cross a PC-liberal. David Cross? PC? Has he seen his act?
