Are You Ready for TIME TRAVEL?

If I could turn back time, if I could find a way I'd take back those words that hurt you and you'd stay. I don't know why I did the things I did I don't know why I said the things I said.

bah, i knew i had that coming. but i'm glad you brought it up. i believe in the virtue of classic style sites, although this is a piss poor example (especially so soon after that particular rant). this, yes, is basically a direct rip (and thus a pretty lousy site). the difference between the two is in the site i was originally talking about is basically a youtube video turned gif and posted here whereas this site is intended to highlight a line that i found particularly hilarious. classic sites are tricky like that because the right one can kill (see: [site this-rock:site], but one done in haste (or as a result of being stoned and watching napoleon dynamite) may not come off properly and will end up looking like, and being, a direct rip. IN CONCLUSION, this site is bad, but classic sites are not; that site is bad, and is not trying to be good.
I wasn't trying to be sarcastic; I was genuinely curious. When I saw that comment, I felt like we were on the same page, but then I viewed this and thought I was missing something. Which is why I asked for clarification.
Regarding classic sites, I've always measured them against the original YTMND. It took a line from a movie and looped it, yes, but it also took it out of context, thereby creating something new. [site this-rock:site] is a fantastic example. This Napoleon Dynamite one feels like a retread of a scene in the movie.
I appreciate the thoughtful response.
