Too much inside baseball. It's like eight people making sites, caring about how the other seven among them vote. Sure, there are other regular visitors around, but speaking as one of them: half the YTMNDs aren't remotely comprehensible to people who aren't wrapped up in the voting drama of that small group.
Sometimes I wonder if YTMND wouldn't be better with no voting...perhaps some sort of handpicked moderator system so funny people could sort through and showcase good creators. At least anonymous voting might change things.
