You know, for a while, a couple of years ago, max invited me to the private developer channel where he hangs out in Discord. You know what he's doing in there? Mostly talking about video games with his buddies, from what I saw.<br /><br />And I love max. All of us that enjoyed ytmnd have him to thank. But with great power comes great spiderman stuff. You want the youth of the early 2000's to fall in love with what you're doing? You gotta put in the effort. If you don't believe in yourself, if you blow it off, you're kinda going to break a lot of hearts.

Wow, this YTMND really hit me right in the nostalgia feels. The music is very nice, and the way the content explores the bittersweet beauty of love and loss is both poignant and relatable. It's a reminder of the good old days when YTMND was the internet's playground, and I can't help but feel grateful for having experienced it during its heyday. This site is nice. Here's to the memories and the joy of having loved and lost online and irl.

Whatever that all means......I never formally "joined" the IYA unless making an account in your message board was joining it....and if I did....when was I ever "banned" from the IYA? Did you ban me from it? Or is "Suzanne Supremo" just making up shit like always? They have made up garbage about me and many other people on that garbage wiki. They make up stupid shit like the "Krooked Kopyfraud Krew"and claim I and other are in it. Maybe I should just make up stupid named for them. Like the "Annoying Assholes that nobody loves IRL Alliance" or something, since they do that shit to me. The one thing I did actually do (sort of) that they have accused me of doing was deleting shit on their wiki because they were using it to attack me. I did that once. It took like 10 minutes. Not repeatedly like they have claimed. It was justified. If I cared enough to put in the effort, I would do it again. Also, by they, I mean SusanTrepid and alts, ReiHino and alts, and probably SantabotAI if he is still around with alts anymore, I am not even sure. BTW, I don't think Lurg has anything to do with any of that. Thanks, that's actually amazing to hear, I appreciate that. Yeah I was 17 when I signed up on here. Went to an expensive school for mechanical engineering (5 year program) then realized I didn't like it about 3.5 years in. Realized I was in too deep and finished it. I've been working at a job related to that field for about 5 years now. My feelings are pretty much still the same, I love to create shit and have really missed it over the years but it has constantly taken a back seat to paying off student debt and other shit like that. Almost out of it though and for the past 6 months I've just been studying After Effects/Audition/Photoshop/FL Studio in my free time. YTMND was the perfect outlet for not having much editing skills but that translates extremely poorly to YouTube nowadays. Have been focusing on getting my editing skills up before making crap again but I'm really excited to start back up.

and to add to that - <br />i believe every YTMND site needs to be preserved, no matter how stupid or bad or noobish it may be.<br /><br />HOWEVER, i think we can all agree that Epic Nigga Flip Maneuvre and the original HTPAT do not for any reason need to be archived. wouldn't you just love to see those two disappear forever?

That's cool. I always did say that there's lots of creativity and untapped potential in purposely horrible fad mashups and weird sound experiments. Maybe the "message" is often the same (if there is ever really a message), but the execution is always interesting to see (and, as we predicted, the "direct rip" sites that were popular back then have been rendered obsolete by Youtube, so we kind of "won", I guess?)<br /><br />It's funny how this sort of weird fad transformation stuff leaked out of YTMND and seems to have taken over a greater part of the Internet as a whole. It's interesting to think that stuff like this had a part in it, isn't it? Makes me feel a little bit better about squandering my youth applying random graphic filters to extremely low quality Simpsons screengrabs.<br /><br />Anyway, keep doing what you love. I'll be here to dole out sporadic 5s when I'm feeling wistful and nostalgic. :)
