stereotypes are created for a reason and this one is being perpetuated by the ones that it is based on...sorry but it's the truth. There are a lot of very noteworthy and successful blacks in the US and in the world (and conversely there are a lot of stupid white guys too) but on a whole, blacks make up a larger portion of the poor and uneducated percentage of our society...not because they can go nowhere else in life but because those circumstances, like the stereotype, are often self-perpetuating.

I come from a military family, and I lived in South Carolina for 5 years (2nd-6th grade) and I went to high school in Montana, so I'm from nowhere. Also, I never said anything about everyone not graduating in South Carolina, its just that SC has one of the worst education systems. It doesn't mean that everyone in SC is stupid, sheesh.
