Can I just ask why you doubled the site's image size by using the same gif for the foreground and background instead of just using it for the foreground? I know ytmnd's standards are about as low as they've ever been, but just for the sake of getting people to sit long enough for your site to load shouldn't you at least do this one favor for your viewers?

[Obviously] I made up all the statistics. I chose to show moon man, nisa, and milkhuman as the bloat of reoccurring sites on ytmnd [as well as the absence of the sites creator]. I wasn't really expecting other users reactions to my depiction. Honestly, without implying any negative connotation, I wanted to relate these sites to spam, lingering specters ever-present in my internet experience . For the record, I don't usually vote on music channel sites [being an audiophile is part of the reason I return to ytmnd] and I enjoy some of the things users have to say utilizing text to speech.
