I seem to remember something about sandwich choices, and I know we had salad choices. We would have to take red laminated strips of paper if we wanted taco salad and green if we wanted chef salad. There was yellow too, but I can't remember what that was for (possibly PB&J). 3rd grade was definitely my favorite year (1997-98) and this site seemed to hit everything right on the money. Everyone was drawing the S that year and I hated it, until someone finally showed me how to draw it. I don't remember anything about the cube though. We also had "lunch tiles" with our names on them, which we placed under our desired lunch. And we also had all those stupid little tasks to do (moving the name tiles after lunch was one of them). I'm not exaggerating when I say that I was the smartest in my class that year. I would always compete with this other dude in everything and I usually came out on top (getting the most stars for completing the most math exercises, other shit). I was the overachiever back then. Then I got to middle school and said "Fuck this shit."

tl;dr

ooo, also, my friend and i just discovered a boom mic reflection on some shiny surface on the bridge. first time i've ever noticed that in tng, i think... i forget the name of the episode, but it was a Beverley Crusher centric episode, the one where members of the ship/crew kept disappearing along with all traces of their existence, and Crusher would be the only person who recalled anything about them. eventually she was the only person left on the ship as it was self destructing or on some collision course with an energetic anomaly or something typical like that. as it turns out, she was actually displaced in some alternate universe bubble created by her twink son Wesley Crusher created in an experiment we saw take place earlier in the episode. Geordi La Forge let Wesley do the shit. yet another Geordi screw up, like telling the ship's computer to create a holodeck adversary capable of defeating Data in a game, which led to the ship's computer becoming self aware. dumbass.

So basically, your defense is that in order for something to be racist, it has to be negative and/or hateful and/or ridiculing. Can't racism just result from plain ignorance? I do see what you mean about there being a difference between racism and racial stereotyping, but that doesn't change much for me. I don't find either to be very acceptable on its own.

You have to make the very topic of racism the joke, not the actual content of racism. I thought your site about Asian baseball players was a fantastic demonstration of this. It played on a seemingly American stereotyping of Asians in such a way that the stereotyping perspective was the joke rather than Asians. In this site, I don't really see that.

I think a better argument would be that you were contrasting the elements of the well-spoken, intellectual girl from Bill Nye with the crude stereotyping from long ago. Perhaps you could convince us that this was somehow satirical, that it actually had a point. Otherwise, it's just an out-of-the-way punchline that can only be funny because of just how out of the way it is. I suppose that's fine, but I'm sure there's plenty of other options you could have taken to get that effect.

The same could be asked of the 67% that voted for Montford. How many of the 99,000 people that voted for him do you think understood his positions? In fact, go to his website and find me one single position of his on any major political issue out there. (Education aside, since he has served in education for over 30 years.) Let me know if you find anything about any issues, or any possible solutions or ideas he perhaps has. The same argument can be made the other way around -- while "pot heads and people that vote for anyone with an "R" next to their name" might have earned me a significant amount of votes, an overwhelming majority of ignorance must have accompanied those who went to the polls to vote for Montford. Why? Because no one had a clue what he stood for. Every speech he gave consisted of something like, "What we need in the Senate is strong, effective leadership." No substance whatsoever.

I'm guessing roughly 20% of the people who voted for me were aware of my platform, judging from the number of public speaking engagements I attended, the amount of press surrounding the election (quite limited), the amount of advertising I did, and the number of unique visitors on my website. The rest of course would either be those who simply did not like Montford, those who voted straight Republican, or those who simply did not care. I doubt, however, that any significant number of them were "potheads" (aren't Republicans supposed to be anti-pot, anyways?)

Montford spent about $475,000. I spent every penny of what was donated to me.

I am curious as to what your position is on hemp. You say you don't want to debate me on it, but, as I have not heard a single logical argument against the legalization of hemp ("We have more important issues to talk about" is not an argument), I would greatly appreciate your insight.

? WRONG AGAIN! I reached 20000 and needed something new; some new idea that would keep my interest and my focus in the midst of my longest hunt ever.

The idea was filming encounters for Ponyta while listening to music at the same time. It keeps me excited, interested and most of all, able to put up with filming and charging all day. Plus, the thought of getting a shiny with awesome music in the background really added to the inspiration.
So, I started this and got up to 23000. Never the less, all my hope was already gone and only focus remained. I had a duty to do; and I was starting to like this new method of hunting, with the epic music and all.

Every time I was tempted to hunt without the camera, this weird feeling from inside kept telling me to film and listen while encountering. But, when I got to 25000, I started to lose hope. But all the people on YouTube kept predicting and that pushed me as well.

And today, I get it. I was losing my focus at 25940 encounters (because there was no way it would shine before 26000. I was just hurrying up and encountering (Sorry if my singing annoys you). But, my longest hunt EVER ended 28 encounters later (10 on each game).
After a grand total of 230 days (December 2nd, 2009 to July 19th, 2010), 25968 encounters (25970) if you count each and every encounter, my shiny finally appeared! And it was Ponyta too!

[A whole bunch of people predicted when he'd finally find the thing; I removed the list for space]

So, I would like to congratulate TheVipersRKO1 for predicting the closest.

The song in the video is -- No Reason, by Sum41

I do not own the song in this video, it is just used for entertainment. I am not making any kind of profit on this video whatsoever.

Thanks for watching everyone!

If you plan on sticking around to make another site, I want to share a bit of quick advice. Do you remember the terms you agreed to before starting work on this site? It would be a very good idea to heed those terms. No, your sites probably won't get deleted, but you will have a greater likelihood at getting downvoted by the YTMND community. The stuff found at chan/gifbin websites and myspace/facebook pictures are the last things we want to see here. So if you do want to stick around, try making something original. I would personally love to see what you can do.

Also, Trivialis, meaning in Latin "Three roads" literally, actually meant "Street Corner". Trivialis also came to mean "Street Knowledge" in the same sense that we use that phrase now. So, something trivial was something common. This eventually changed to something that is so easy anybody can do it. Things would be dismissed as trivial (and thus not worth discussing). Trivia is the plural of trivial. So, it's a collection of things that have little or no point in talking about.

Ok, while you're technically not plagiarizing anything, you aren't using the source to do something original. Well first of all, I've said this before, but something being a direct rip in and of itself doesn't make it bad. The original YTMND could be considered a direct rip. However a lot of them are simply not funny. And that's what it really comes down to - I vote based on whether or not I find sites to be entertaining or amusing. I find a lot of old classic fads to be funny, so I make sites with them and upvote other sites with them. As for what "deserves to be featured on the front page", most of my sites only appear on recently created and fall off once enough new sites are made. Occasionally I'll get on U&C but I'll inevitably be gone after at most a few hours. It seems pretty odd to complain about my sites being on the front page. And finally, you seem to think that I am afraid to make a mainstream style YTMND, but has it ever occurred to you that I simply don't want to? I don't find most of those kinds of sites funny or entertaining, so why would I make something just to get views and ratings if I don't find it personally interesting? Occasionally I make something similar to what is popular, like that "You are being shagged by a rare parrot" site (which did get on U&C for a while), but that was only because I thought that clip was hilarious when I saw it so I decided to preserve it YTMND style. Simply a coincidence that it was popular. But seeing as you want me to go out, find some clip from some 70s or 80s TV show, rip it, and post it on YTMND, I'm not going to do that just because it's what the cool kids do. I mean, if I'm watching a video and I see something hilarious I might make a YTMND out of it, but mostly I stick to my roots and my personal style. You don't have to like it, but other people do, and you should accept that.

You're acting as if all he did for the ending was simply take some scene from Back to the Future where Marty walks in somewhere, sees something, and is surprised. That would not take as much creativity as piecing this scene together himself.

Although you're right the ending could be better. Maybe he could also have Marty saying "If only I had more time... Wait a minute I've got all the time I want, I got a time machine! I can just go back early and warn him... Ten minutes ought to do it." Then he goes back but still is too late, sees Stephen Hawking get shot by Lybians, Marty says "NOOOOOOOOO, BASTARDS!" Then sees his past self come in and say "I have been looking all over for you... Great Scott!" then his past self travels back in time, and then he rolls down the hill and sees Stephen Hawking survived by wearing a bullet proof vest. "Bullet proof vest... How did you know?" To which Stephen Hawking replies in his TTS voice "WELL I FIGURED, WHAT THE HELL"

Consider that for a second. You know how you feel when people say something critical about your sites that you put hours into? Magnify that by thousands, put on top of it the privilege you should be thankful for of a free service granted to you for years at no cost and at great effort and financial risk/loss, and cap it all off with your lack of graciousness, let alone indifference, and you're a fairly despicable human being.
