Yeahhh! Alright. It's so uh, it's so great this time of year, my favorite time of year. I love this time of year. There's so much excitement. Also excitement in the sports world, if you're a New Yorker, good news for Yankee fans... uh, this is the latest. George Steinbrenner, did you hear about this?, is close to signing a deal that would bring Randy Johnson to the New York Yankees. (applause) Randy Johnson! Yeah. Uhh, no, everyone's in the spirit though right now, it's great. Only seven more shopping days 'til Christmas. Yeah and uh, it's gettin' pretty intense out there. Here in New York, this is true, uh the stores are so crowded, shoppers have to wait thirty minutes just to make a purchase. That's right. Yeah-- experts say if you want to avoid long lines, shop on the internet.

"I didn't call you a cheapskate, you fucking drool-lipped bitchmonkey. I called you a braggart."<br /><br />LOLUMAD?<br /><br />you said before:<br />"I'd give him more money if he did exactly what I say!" Total bullshit. If $50 is a drop in the bucket for you then prove it."<br /><br />Isn't this implying that I am a cheapskate because I apparently only gave a small fraction of what I could?<br /><br />I only gave him $100 up to this point because Max has not responded to me. He has not expressed any interest of keeping the site open any longer. Also, the last thing he said to me was condescending at best, or just plain insulting when he said "Your'e pretty gullible, but you have a good heart".<br /><br />Now, I did intend to give him more donations, but only so much because it does not seem like it will have much difference on anything in terms of site shutdown, that is unless someone proves otherwise. I also tend to prefer to spread out things like donations, rather than a large lump sum.<br /><br />I am not convinced me there is anything wrong with site sponsorships. I think it sets a good example, even from the perspective of those who want max to have as much money as possible. I think when people see that others give good amounts at a charity, they are inspired to give more themselves.<br /><br />"I just refuse to tell you how much I donated to the bitcoin fund because I have both wealth and class,"<br /><br />Isn't this bragging?<br /><br />"And besides," you continued to brag, "bitcoin is stupid and max is stupid for using it." "<br /><br />I never said bitcoin was stupid, only I don't know much about it. I also have no idea whether it is going to Max. He himself made the following statement:<br /><br />"What will you do with all your bitcoins?"

You know, if Max just deleted the massive amounts of altrings (particularly from Nisa and the Moon Crew), ytmnd could possibly still have a relatively long shelf life. It's a simple solution but for some reason "internet bureaucracy" apparently wants that to stay a wet dream for ytmnd veterans.

Max, I want to let you know I meant no disrespect by my last comment. I was sincerely unsure of what you meant. Perhaps you thought I meant I would give you chump change like a lot of people have been giving you lately to sponsor their sites.<br /><br />I think to offer such scratch to you would be insulting.<br /><br />I wanted to offer something along the lines that a young professional might appreciate for a bit. I will give you a taste of what I can offer.<br /><br />If you tell me that this would still not make you change your mind, well then please accept it anyway as thanks for years of providing us this site.

I agree, Max, that bitcoin is still questionable as a currency alternative. This is even after people who I respect have advocated the use of it.<br /><br />However, I think I will stick to normal paypal and other ways of payment.<br /><br />Anyway, I want to know how much money can we raise in order to keep this site open at least 2 to 3 more months. If you feel uncomfortable, you can just tell me in private message.<br /><br />Any money that comes from me will come directly via paypal or the other usual kinds of payment (based on your preference).<br /><br />I was thinking it would be a good idea if I were to set up one of those thermometer fundraiser graphics that churches and political campaigns sometimes use. That way, people look like they are striving towards something tangiable.

[Obviously] I made up all the statistics. I chose to show moon man, nisa, and milkhuman as the bloat of reoccurring sites on ytmnd [as well as the absence of the sites creator]. I wasn't really expecting other users reactions to my depiction. Honestly, without implying any negative connotation, I wanted to relate these sites to spam, lingering specters ever-present in my internet experience . For the record, I don't usually vote on music channel sites [being an audiophile is part of the reason I return to ytmnd] and I enjoy some of the things users have to say utilizing text to speech.
