For the record, I think I joined YTMND under my original name in mid April 2004, after the ytmnd domain was established and people could make accounts. I first became aware of the whole YTMND idea when someone IMed me "It's a Trap"

There was a bandwidth issue in the first couple of months or so where sites stopped loading properly and would just display a black screen with no picture/sound/text (lol a singular focus not a faggy short film), so Max had to purge a bunch of duplicate accounts. For some reason, I had daltonofzeal and daltonofzeal2 created (I think I had login issues with the first one), so my first one was deleted, along with some of my sites (the original aaaaaaa.ytmnd.com, welcometodie, and others I don't remember).<br /><br />There was also another site purge specifically targeting stuff that was deemed not funny, including a lot of game related YTMNDs, which is presumably where my "NES Not Working" site disappeared too. I remember max posting something along the lines of "Your site will be purged if it contains:" and then a list of stuff like "video games" and "anime"
