They were to become infiltrators, assassins, and spies. The courses and physical training were cutthroat. Yana struggled to keep up with her peers. She was smaller than the other kids and had difficulties with her studies, as she could barely read. She was falling behind at an alarming rate and began to attract negative attention from her instructors. However, one night, Yana was awakened by Mila, her bunkmate, and pulled into the bathroom. Milla had stolen a study guide for her, and that night, she helped Yana understand the concepts she had been struggling with. It was the first act of kindness Yana had ever experienced. From that night forward, they engaged in clandestine study sessions, finally giving Yana a chance to catch up and excel in her courses. As the years passed, Yana and Mila grew inseparable. Mila was a sister to her, sharing funny stories and dreams with Yana during meals and between training blocks. They studied and practiced together every day, fostering a fragment of warmth in the cold, unforgiving environment of the compound. However, as they spent time together, Yana couldn't help but notice that Mila always seemed one step ahead. She always seemed to have the best equipment, the best books-some of which were not standard issue, but Yana brushed it off thinking nothing of it. Mila was older, it was possible she had access to privileges not allowed for younger members of the compound. As the children of the compound grew into young adults, their lessons became more closely tailored to their skill sets and genders. Even the shyest of birds occasionally have their spicy moments... deciding to wear a sheer skirt out for a day of shopping was already a bold move, but after picking up a few new toys at his favourite toy store he got a little too carried away and the idea entered his head that trying one out in public would be an exciting way to spend the afternoon. Slipping it in somewhere discrete, not too worried about it being visible through the sheer fabric figuring his tailfeathers and general fluff would do a good enough job hiding it from view, he settled down at a nearby coffee shop. Unfortunately for poor Addie, the toy ended up being considerably more effective than he had expected. Suffice it to say, everyone around had a pretty good idea what was going on, and given his state there wasn't much he could do about it except wait for his body to calm down enough for him to be able to walk away... Fortunately, this kind of thing is well tolerated and often even enjoyed his his world, so he shouldn't get into much trouble. Having survived the injuries he sustained in the Chicago war and avoided being hunted down by the humans in the years since, Barricade had been rebuilt into a sleeker new form. In the seven years since the Chicago conflict, he had acted as Megatron's spy and scout in his search for the Guardian Knights' talisman. Perhaps unknown to Barricade, he had long been under surveillance by the U.S. government. In the ruins of Chicago, he witnessed the talisman being bestowed to Cade Yeager by one of the Knights. He was however unable to claim it due to arrival of the heavily armed TRF, and he watched from a distance as they entered a stand off with Yeager and the Autobots. Barricade reported back to Megatron, accidentally angering his leader by flashing his light in his face. He reported the events of his mission, and Megatron was further angered by his failure to retrieve the Talisman, which was needed to find the Staff they required. Barricade managed to salvage the situation, indicating he knew who could lead them to the Staff: the TRF themselves. Unknown to either Decepticon, their conversation was being monitored by William Lennox and General Morshower. Based on Barricade's plan, Megatron used human hostages as leverage to broker a deal with TRF and secured the release of fellow Decepticons Mohawk, Dreadbot, Nitro Zeus, and Onslaught. Barricade later joined his leader and cohorts in their hunt for Yeager. They arrived at Yeager's scrap yard but Yeager had already fled to a nearby town and they followed. They were met with some not-quite-unexpected resistance in the form of the Autobots Bumblebee, Drift, and Crosshairs and blasted by a trap set by Yeager. Barricade took point in pursuing Yeager through the town. Barricade ordered Yeager and Izabella to freeze, but was surprised and swiped through a wall by the newly arrived Grimlock's tail. Luckily for Barricade, Grimlock was then focused on attacking Megatron and crunching on Dreadbot. After Dreadbot and Onslaught perished in battle, Barricade fled when Megatron gave the order to retreat. He and his comrades then followed Yeager to England, knowing he was the key to finding the Staff. In London, he chased down the fleeing Bumblebee, who had Yeager and Viviane Wembly with him. He attempted to ram them but was blasted away by his Autobot nemesis. He transformed to catch himself but fell into oncoming traffic and was rammed by a large truck. Commenting on how much it hurt, he had been hit hard enough that he was too weak to continue the pursuit. He later rendezvoused with Megatron and Nitro at Stonehenge, the site which would drain Unicron, who lay deep within the Earth, of his energy and revive the recently arrived Cybertron. He happily gloated that he had lived to kill a planet and commented on the ease with which they could kill Unicron. They soon came under attack from the British Armed Forces and Barricade returned fire.

The campaign included a commercial featuring Optimus Prime, where he is seen eating an Oreo cookie. This commercial was part of a broader cross-promotion strategy between Oreo and the Transformers franchise. Additionally, Oreo held auditions for a commercial shoot in Miami, seeking males and females of various ethnicities and ages to participate in the Oreo Transformers commercial for the film. Oreo was one of the many transformers made by KSI, but was one of the few that did not fall into Galvatron's control, as he glitched during the Autobot invasion into KSI and was shot down and killed. Arcee was among the crew of Autobots that had become stranded on Earth after arriving in 1987. Seven years later in 1994, she and the others were in New York City when Optimus witnessed the activation of the transwarp key. The Autobots regrouped in a warehouse to find Mirage had taken in a stowaway, Noah Díaz, who Arcee researched and discovered his past as a soldier. Arcee confirmed the existence of the transwarp key in the museum on Ellis Island, and the group realized they could use it to return to Cybertron. Arcee pointed out they couldn't take the key themselves without evading detection, but Mirage convinced Noah to steal the key for them, despite the group's misgivings. Arcee helped stakeout the museum during Noah's infiltration, only for the Terrorcons to arrive in force. Arcee was knocked out of the fight by the burly Battletrap, and the group lost Bumblebee to Scourge's blade. The group was saved by the timely arrival of Airazor, who explained Scourge had only taken half of the key, and Arcee convinced Elena Wallace to help lead them to the remaining half in Peru after encouraging her with the knowledge she'd be saving two worlds in the process. On the flight to Peru aboard Stratosphere, Arcee wondered if the slain Bumblebee could be revived with an Energon treatment, but Optimus lamented that they likely couldn't without returning to Cybertron. The group linked up with Wheeljack and Arcee rode inside his vehicle mode as they took positions keeping watch while Noah and Elena hunted for the key. The Terrorcons arrived and engaged the Autobots in battle. While Wheeljack drove, Arcee provided some firepower in her robot mode, but once again Battletrap took her and Wheeljack out of the fight by making them tumble down a mountainside in the ensuing car chase. Arcee regrouped with the others when they confronted the Maximals, aiming at Cheetor until Airazor defused the stand-off. When Scourge obtained the complete key and began to bring Unicron to Earth, Arcee took part in the battle against the Terrorcons and their Predacon reinforcements. Though Arcee's speed and blasters served her well, things looked grim when Unicron appeared in the sky and the Autobot-Maximal alliance began to be submerged by the sheer numbers of their enemy. Arcee was aghast when Optimus declared his intention to sacrifice himself to destroy the portal bringing forth Unicron, but luckily, Noah and Optimus Primal saved Optimus and the day from the Chaos Bringer.

Diva Plavalaguna is a famous and revered operatic performer in the film's universe. She is the trusted contact of the Mondoshawans, who entrusted the elemental stones to her for safekeeping before their demise at the hands of Mangalore mercenaries. The Diva is referenced, though not by identity, as the contact Leeloo is meant to meet with to obtain the stones early in the film. She would be located on Fhloston at a luxurious hotel where she was set to perform. She is described as having outstanding performances by Ruby Rhod, and appears to be a subject of great respect and admiration, as her show at the hotel was populated by dignitaries and celebrities from all over the cosmos. She is seen for the first time being escorted to her suite in the hotel by her companions and hotel security. The awestruck head of security stammers and appears nervous in front of her. She senses Leeloo's presence behind a wall down the hallway. Turning to one of her companions and communicating quietly, she sends the companion to tell Leeloo that she is happy she is here and she will give her what she came for. The Diva is next seen in the opera hall, giving what turned out to be her final performance. She sings a slow, melancholy melody at first, that suddenly becomes more upbeat and impressive as she delivers talent that evokes a standing ovation from the crowd. Later, the Diva is shot through the abdomen while still on stage by invading Mangalores. She falls, with Korben reaching to her and pulling her down to the floor behind the seats. Encouraging her to stay awake, he implores her to tell him where the stones are. She tells him about Leeloo's strength, and that she is more fragile than she appears, requiring both his love and support to complete her mission. She informs him with her dying breath that the stones were "...in me." Korben deciphers this to mean that the stones were literally being housed inside her, being able to access them by reaching through the bullet hole in her abdomen and pulling them out. Bombshell Harley Quinn is a version of Harley Quinn from an alternate universe. Seeking out the "Belle of the Bog" (Barbara Gourdon) in the bayou of Louisiana Harleen left her love when she decided that she didn't wish to become a monster. Becoming a talented doctor specializing in psychology, Harleen practised at the Arkham Ward; Sanitarium for the Criminally Insane, in London due to being kept from working in more auspicious hospitals due to her gender and her past involvement with crime. On December, 1940, Harleen was tending to Shondra Kinsolving; one of her patients who was once a doctor and colleague of Harleen's who worked at the Ward, during one of the city's wartime blackouts on christmas. Suffering from nightmares, Shondra revealed to Harleen that she was dreaming of London being overrun by humanoid, shadow monsters, and a long-toothed, laughing man whispering a message for Harley to "Come find him". Hearing this message makes Harleen have a mental breakdown and arise with her face transformed in clown makeup and exhibiting enhanced agility. Leaving the hospital, Harleen crashes a christmas dance party where she causes grief amongst the English soldiers when she steals the women in the party for herself to dance with. Observing as her attempts lead to a bar fight, Aviation Officer Hal Jordan introduces himself to Harleen and is quickly seduced by the female doctor as she has him lead her to his plane in Whitemore airfield whereupon she steals his key, knocks him out and hijacks his plane to fly to Berlin where she believed her "beau" to be. Three miles from Calais over the English Channel, Harleen's plane is shot down by German infantry and she crash lands in the greenhouse of Pamela Ysley; a smuggler who worked for Selina Digatti until the Germans seized her hometown of Calais three months earlier. As part of a plan of vengeance, Pamela sold her luxurious items to the occupying Nazis forces and then one night brewed a perfume so sweet that it made the Nazis drowsy and gave Pamela her chance to kill them. But an unexpected side effect to the perfume turned Pamela's skin green. As she was in the process of vacating the house after learning of France's surrender to Germany, Harleen convinces Pamela to leave with her to Berlin; killing Nazi soldiers as they drove through occupied towns. Reaching Berlin a few days after the Battle of Britain and Nazi Germany's attempted use of Tenebrae undead to bolster their army, Harleen and Pamela break into the "Cabaret of the Joker's Daughter" only to discover that the Joker's Daughter had lured Harleen there posing as "Mistah J". Revealing that she intended to bring her master back by having him possess Pamela's body, Harleen cuts off the Joker's Daughter's hand and escapes with Pamela to "The Cat's Cradle"; a smugglers den used by Pamela and Selina Digatti to store their smuggled goods 20-25 meters below Berlin. While growing an underground garden to provide food beneath the city, the duo run into Raven, Zatanna Zatara and John Constantine; who were also fleeing from the Joker's Daughter, and soon afterward, Kate Kane, Renee Montoya and Selina Degatti; who were preparing to use the tunnels in a mission to smuggle Jews out of a Berlin Ghetto.
