Sorry, but WAAAAAY too preachy. I don't come to YTMND for serious business, but to get away from it. Maybe add some humor like a Forgot Poland joke to the part about Poland (complete with ear rape), and maybe some Secret Nazi references?

I get that. But still, when new people or returning old users come to ytmnd and see moonman on the front page, as usual, I don't want that to be the only impression they get. I want people to know that we're not all racist asshats on ytmnd.

Man, the text goes way too slow in this. But aside from that, I'm on board nuking Moon Man and all the other racist crap off the site, so five. I know I don't want to show other people this site because of stupid YTMNDs like that, because some teenager back in the day thought "I can use racial slurs, aren't I hilarious?"

I'd normally disagree with the preachy-esque vibes and the way politics is brought into the site, but I've heard that the particular ytmnd site you're talking about did cause advertisers to leave ytmnd and stop it from being funded. I guess I'll rate a 3.

I do disagree with the censorship but I'd rather the site survive for longer than be twitter'd into oblivion. It's survived for a good 19 years now and I want it to survive at least a little longer if it can.

Valid points. I feel like it's still worth sticking to the front page though to annoy the dumb white supremacist crowd ytmnd tends to attract. By the way, I'm not the author. Guy Raz is a guy who does stuff on NPR and Ted Talks.
