5 for Battletoads. Stage 7, Volkmire's Inferno is straight up impossible, though, despite a guy on GameFAQs saying it's easier than Turbo Tunnel. Dunno what he's smokin', I've beat every level in the game without cheating except 7, where I had to use the warp in the previous level. I hope you don't count the warp as cheatin'...
Wha? Volkmire's Inferno is one of my favorite levels. Maybe it's because I'm more savvy with the Genesis version, which seems to have toned down on the difficulty, I dunno. There's this one spot--I'm not sure where at, really, it might be the bottom left or the top left corner-- where you'll be safe to just stay there when the missles are firing and falling down.
The part where you have to avoid the walls is pretty hard, though, but I love it. Maybe it's the music.
