Seriously, read the description. This is a "2d representation of 4d," not actual 4d. For something that can actually travel in a 4d space, this is what they would see, but it obviously does not retain the real properties of a 4d object. 4d being represented in 2d is no more illogical than a 3d (cube) in 2d.
Well, alright, for the fifth dimension, I'll try to explain propability. Each time you flip a coin, imagine two alternate realities splitting off. One in which the coin lands heads, one tails. Now imagine that for everything that ever happened. For the 5th dimension, we move randomly forwards in a tree-like diagram, and for the 4th, time, we move forward at a constant rate. Obviously our movement in the 5th is linked to our movement in the 4th, as the past events stay that way and the future is indeterminab
And as to the 4th dimension vs. the rest, modern string theory suggests 11, as man as 26 possible dimensions, but ones irrelevant to modern physics. Picture a hose: from a distance, 1D (line). A hypercube is a 4d cube. You know a normal 3d cube is a 3d space, enclosed by six squares. Just like a square is a 2d space (surface) enclosed by four lines. A line is a 1d space (length) enclosed by two points. It won't surprise you to learn a hypercube is a 4d space (hyperspace), enclosed by eight cubes.

Errant is wrong ... copying a square in another direction creates a new third dimension: the direction in which it as moved. This animation looks like the cube is moved upon a z-axis or something, but really a physical 4th dimension is almsot impossible for a human mind to conceive. I 5 this anyway.

As it turns out, computer screens don't even have a third dimension, let alone a fourth. you can't ever have four mutually perpendicular lines on a screen.

This is a silly representation of 4 dimensions.
Just draw a series of cubes, put some arrows on the ends of each to indicate that they continue in either direction, and mark a line W to indicate that there are W cubes.
This model can also be used to illustrate 5, 6, 7 dimensions etc by arranging the cubes differently.
What you've drawn does not do much to communicate what it means to have 4 dimensions.
