"ascidus funny but stolen from ebaums world =[ " Sweet Holy F*ck I Hope that was a joke. Originality isn't in Ebaums book. But more references must be found, the TRUTH MUST BE TOLD!

Disney has not done anything original to begin with, so of course they'll rip themselves off. Name a completely original Disney movie that did not start out as a story, or was already in a book. I tried. I can't think of one.

dude, budgets get tight sometimes and deadlines approach quickly. the animators do what they have to do to finish the film on time. its called the real world

yeah man.. as people posted before Re-use is the oldest animation trick in the book. This is spoken with experience. Even us 3D animators try to find as much re-use as possible.(easier to hide cause we can move the camera) But that's how you get ahead so that you can put extra effort into the shots that your most excited about. And you want to talk about lazy, check out Brother Bear! There's a huge pull-out shot of the bears fishing and the same animation get re-used in the same shot!

Even if he found this on Ebaums, Ebaums didn't discover this first. It's been pretty common knowledge and has been talked/blogged about extensively.

back in the 60s and 70s, disney sometimes used old animation to make deadlines and such. it's not uncommon. in beauty and the beast, the end scene with belle dancing mimics aurora dancing with the prince almost exactly. but this was more a tribute than a time saver.

The best thing about it is the music from this fad "I'M THE SAME BOY I USED TO BEEEEEE" kinda describes the ytmnd, the boy is the same in every Disney movie.

is it 1977? I'm glad lots of people are posting other examples. Disney has been notorious for this for the last 69 years. It's not always so obvious like this. It's old news for me, but I guess it's time a new generation learns about. Disney adapted to the technologies. Look into the history of 2D animation and you can learn how Disney was able to do this. Anyone who's made animated gifs or edited them on here knows, editing one is easier than making one from scratch. But,Who will read this page 2 comment ?

I work with 2D animation and know the work behind it. So I'm not suprised they cheated a little to save a little time. Very intresting though. :)

This is from an era where Disney had very low money and production values.
