NEDM stands for "not even doom music" Most sites feature the Jean Claude Ades remix of Coburn's - We Interrupt this Program(me) and a picture of a happy grey cat. The actual meaning behind this stems from user Spotz's test site where titanium-gecko had posted an angry comment because spotz had fived a site featuring a burning kitten and music from the game DOOM. A person posted this damn image as a GIF I believe with Doom music in the background and recieved feedback stating that "NOT EVEN DOOM MUSIC (NEDM) COULD MAKE THIS COOL/RIGHT" or something like that.
