I see comments like that all over the place - the thing to realize is that the "sync" is perfect - the audio and video files are EXACTLY the same length, and are synchronized using the flash loader. Howowever, eventually ALL GIFs will get out of sync depending on net connection speed, computer Processing speed/memory, etc. How fast it happens is just a combination of how big the file is (and i try to make mine as small as humanely possible) and the previously mentioned factors.
Flambrinoiii - I use Ulead GIF Animator for all my animations. I believe you can download a trial version to experiment with if you're interested, as it will import video files frame by frame. However, for large files (like scenes taken from DVDs) I advance frame by frame in PowerDVD, take screen shots, then save the images and put them back together in GIF animator at the correct framerate.
