YTMND Symphony Orchestra (Part I)
Created on: June 9th, 2006
YTMND Symphony Orchestra (Part I)
My submission to the YTMND Remix Project. This wasn't intended to be a full-fledged YTMND at all. I am truly shocked and honored that it's done so well. Thanks a ton to all of you.

I wouldn't mind if you do Pepper,s but please don't make every YTMND fad song really slow and sad. That's not what orchestrations are all about.

June 11th, 2006
(0)
Is it just me, or does the middle part of the NSMB track sound like it should be a battle theme for a Sqare-Enix RPG? Maybe I'm just tired...
June 11th, 2006
(0)
Good lord, man! YTMNDers aren't supposed to have talent! Also if someone can get an orchestra to actually play this I will have their babies.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
90s was good....but Jesus H. Christ the NSMB is amazing. Do enough of these and release a soundtrack of them all IMO

June 11th, 2006
(0)
Sorry, just not doing it for me...the execution on both songs, but especially Running in the 90s, is just really lacking imo. Could have been much, much more.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
Four'd, for try as I might, I do not hear Running In The Nineties, possibly due to tempo.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
f*ckIN AWESOME
June 11th, 2006
(0)
"Awesome, though you fail to realise than timpani (kettle) drums can only be tuned to 3 notes per song." How is that so? Normally there are atleast 4 timpani, and i have had to switch notes mid song plenty of times. Some timpani also have markers to what note your playing. So I don't see why a timpani player couldn't play all of those notes.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
devastating results
June 11th, 2006
(0)
Quite impressive. I'd give a Six for also using FL Studio, but YTMND limits voters to five stars. Nice work.

Wow... just wow... It's rare you just sit back and just listen to a YTMND for enjoyment and not chaos. I'd 5 ya twice if I could.

June 11th, 2006
(0)
lol, ytmnd soundtrack volume 4 !
(0)
I like the part where it sucks the joy out of what was once funny. But then, it's had the life sucked out of it so often that I don't know what can possibly be left of its desiccated corpse.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
Needs animation.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
Amazing aural cacophony. I can only imagine how much time and effort went into this YTMND. Everyone appreciates it. However, I truly believe that the rearrangement of "Running in the 90's" is a bit slower (albeit *beautiful*) than it's original. The "Punch-Out" theme is aur-gasmic. Amazing job, you deserve the overall rating you currently have obtained.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
Deathacorn: So you don't like this? That's too bad. It's people with dedication like Xer0's that keep this site fully entertaining. I'm not saying you need to like this; and no---I won't insult you. However, if no one put enough effort into making beautiful, hilarious, solemn, and all the other YTMND's in between---we would not have any originality. People like Xer0 who spend time on their projects give all of us (you as well) the YTMND's that are truly enjoyable.
June 11th, 2006
(0)
Damn! I was going to do this exact same thing! Ah well, I can take being beaten to it because of the good work. If you want some collab work or some help with Part II, I've been a FL Studio user for years.
June 11th, 2006

For those calling us crazy for not hearing Running in the Nineties, I'd like to point out that the song was originally recorded at a tempo of 158, I'm thinking this performace is around a 52-53, about 3 times slower.
June 11th, 2006

This is the most awesome thing i have ever seen.
June 12th, 2006

I liked it overall, but I don't know that I'd call it "symphonic." Outside of video game soundtracks, drums aren't typically as prominent as they are in your NSMB.

i think this might be one of the best musically crafted ytmnd's ever.
June 13th, 2006

This validates the existance of YTMND. It highlights the splendor of YTMND's random, jibberish, fad filled brand of stupidity like nothing before. If only I could download these songs.

Judged as a remix, and not a YTMND, I think it's worth about a 3. You obviously put a ton of effort into it. I do like the transition between songs. Nice image, too, but I digress. The software instruments are a bit lacking, and the rythm/tempo for the coveri tune is a little off and a little slow. n*gg* stole my bike is stronger, and the instrument thing isn't totally your fault, but yeah. Nice job.
