Seriously, good stuff. Very mindblowing. Also, should my previous comment spawn a fad ytmnd or even a universe some how involving the acronym "NEK7M"; I'm going to claim credit for it now. Ok?... Sh*t, what if an alternate version of myself also claims ownership for that idea? I just pooped myself... I wonder if one of my alternate selves pooped themself. This is so deep. O_o
Okay, I've gotten this confused with the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle, which I've just found out is NOT that "the act of measurement/observation changes the state of the thing being measured"... that's actually the "observer effect," but I've heard the HUP described by (get this) a cat in the box... Anyway I did a student film years ago called "Schroedinger's Cat-In-The-Box" - a fast-food restaurant where you don't know what you're going to get in the combo meal, a chicken sandwich or a dead cat...

Okay, for the guy who thinks I'm a hypocrite... I don't think you understand the circumstances surrounding the NEDM fad and my part in it. I saw the cat burning video and was totally appalled by it. I downvoted a lot of people who 5'd it, and left the comment "Not even Doom music warrants a 5 to burning kittens. What followed was a weird internet butterfly effect scenario, where people (mainly, Moheevi) turned it into an acronymn and started a fad. "NEDM" I was never against NEDM as a fad.
I am however starkly opposed to burning cats. It is immoral, heartless, and frankly a sign of deeply rooted mental problems. As is any animal cruelty. NEDM in and of itself does not support any sort of animal cruelty. Rather, it is a statement condemning such actions on the grounds that nothing could justify them. However, as one of ytmnd's most popular and persistant fads, it has lost a lot of its original meaning. As long as no one is burning cats, that's totally fine by me. Let it be enjoyed.
