We would not be in this leaky ship if half the decent site creators on this website focused on creating sites that were funny and contained, at the least, broad forms of humor. You can't expect to expand the revenue of the page when 9/10 of the new matieral these days is YTMND fanboyized, entrenched in "INTERNET CRUSADE!!~!!!," and dominated by lameass video game cliches. People can't click the frontpage these days and understand what the sh*t is going on.

Most people don't have the time, skills, or intrest to bother creating a YMTND. I'm not going to waste 75+ dollars on a form of photoshop or bother downloading one; I just don't care that much. I can, however, watch a YTMND and judge it fairly accurately.
with wavepad alone you can mix music together, if you have a mic you can record yourself over it and make a site like 'wtf its a dinosaur' over an existing gif. but i guess its more fun of you to be a backseat driver. criticism is one thing, but what you were talking about is the overall direction of YTMND - you like to tell people what sucks but dont even use your criticism to say what you WANT to see.
I'll just comment to foamingpanda since everyone else likes to... If you want to give me 5 minutes I can make a ytmnd showing how you're a gigantic hypocrite. Your choice. Because, honestly, "I can, however, watch a YTMND and judge it fairly accurately" combined with a 2 star rating either means a.) you're one of the harshest raters in history and reserve anything above a 2 for only the rarest sites or b.) you are, as mentioned, a blatant hypocrite. Oh, and it's b.).
