The joke is that a character in Star Wars, who is very greedy and known as Greedo, is trying to track down and kill Han Solo.
Scientology is all about money. We know that. So the joke is that an greedy bounty hunter is trying to recruit people in to his, as Han calls it, "Hokey religion."
If it makes it funnier, pretend the alien is Xenu...
