I understand PF is considered depressing (which accounts for much of the disdain) but hey, life is about duality after all. If you want some mellower PF, check out Meddle, Piper, and anything before Dark Side with Barrett. There's plenty of positivity in Syd's compositions, and very relaxing tracks on Meddle.
