I expected a "wrong" Arnold site, but I was pleasantly surprised. Personally, aside from the alternating shades of colors (which I still can't understand how they help a layout... all they do is distract my eyes - but I dunno about you guys) I don't have any issues with the layout. I prefer a light background color to a pure black/white look. It's easier on the eyes. Just... Not the alternating shades of color & excessive spacing of things... Bigger & flashier is not better.
