I will repost it until it gets better attention than my last YTMND. If you want a game added, say it in comments.

Depends. Sometimes it's the date of the game, sometimes it's the date the developpers let it die. otimus, I'm glad to hear you say that, as it's this YTMND's point. Developpers are getting lazy, and good games are getting rarer. They need to stop relying on marketting and caring about their image and make good games.
Earthworm Jim, Not seen since a crappy 3D game. Good Final Fantasy games, missing since 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 depending on who you ask. Vectorman(Genesis). Turrican(Commodore64). Anachronox(PC). Jetpack(DOS). ZZT(DOS). A decent Doom game. Descent(DOS/WIN). A Mechwarrior title that can live up to Mechwarrior 2(PC). Einhander(Playstation). Another World aka Out of This World(Amiga/PC/etc). Blaster Master(NES). Crystalis(NES). Gyruss(NES/FDS/Arcade). Ristar(Genesis/and a surprisingly good remake for the Game Gear).
