DC, aren't you supposed to turn off your mic if you wanna do that? also, the sound recorder that comes standard with windows can only record up to 60 seconds, getting something like Adobe audition might be more convenient... oh yeah, you only really need this for embeds like those myspace players and stuff

Thank you for showing this, I'm sick of hearing sound recorded from speakers to cheapo microphone. Still, this should only be used if there is no way of extracting the original audio from whatever. Take note that the quality of the sound recorded with this method is noticably degraded compared to the original (at least with most sound cards).

I forget how I do it, but I have some crazy @$$ method that involves video recording & then extracting the audio from the video... >_> This is much more direct & similar to the way I used to do it before in another method I also don't remember.
