Monsters of the Deep
This is a re-release. I originally had a frame that too many deemed offensive so I cut it. I also added an extra monster and cleaned things up. New audio too.

thought i'd seen this before. so, you removed anything that made this anything, and reduced it to another science slideshow. pretty, though.

This is the kind of sh*t that makes me afraid of the ocean, even if these animals are extinct. There's still a lot of unknown, deadly sh*t in there today, not to mention the Ocean is probably the most unexplored place in existance right now, aside from Space.

For the picture of the big fish, there should be te burger king instead of ronald as Burger King offers a "BK Big Fish" as one of their food selections.

Just so you know, most icthyosaurs weren't over 20 meters long. They were usually only a few meters in length. There are only one or two really giant skeletons (over 20 meters) that have been found. But overall, very nice YTMND!

Evolution is a lie! God aged those bones millions of years and hid them underground because...umm...hold on, I'm sure Pat Robertson will make up something quick.

You need to slow down the frames with text on it so people can actually read the whole thing. Still a solid site, though.

For those curious, the "controversial" frame I removed was an advisory label edited for Christians that wanred them the followed contain explicit dates. Christians and non-christians downvoted and said I was bashing Christians for no reason. It was only a light hearted joke, but I caved and removed the frame. Too many people were bitching.
November 7th, 2006
(0)
If everyone agrees, I will slow down the frames a bit. I just thought people would get bored and click close if it was too slow :P

Don't be spreading your evil science and facts and skeletal reconstructions of the past. Everyone knows that these old bones were made by satan in order for you to stay home on sundays watching the discovery channel instead of mindlessly worshipping old scifi books and their respective heroes.
November 7th, 2006
(0)
lol wow. I didn't see THAT coming.
November 7th, 2006
(0)
did you use a different song in the original?
November 8th, 2006
(0)
lol Kallstar. About those Christians who downvoted you, WOW, they are NOT helping people get over the stereotype of Christians being fanatical morons who assume that nearly everything that mentions religion in the least is anti-Christian.

I really love this site, as I have known about these creatures, but I have never such cool action drawings before! Makes me want to get into ancient marine biology! I think I will have a new hobby or interest! Thanks Concat, and seriously, add more "monsters" whenever you have the chance!
