Good site. The only problem is that most well off people/countries only have one or two kids, and it's later in life. The true problems are in countries like Africa, where they have an average of 10 kids each, can't afford to feed one of them in the first place, then cry about it. Not to mention the spread of STDs.
First of you forot to look at the major issue. Is the Fetus a Human being? Is it alive? At just under a month the Heart beats, and at just over two months the "fetus" can even make facial expressions. Now if we follow your method, which we all know is genious, just ask the likes of hitler, stalin, and countless genocide leaders. We see that killing inoccent people makes about perfect sense, RIGHT?! If your worried about over population, why don't you make a real statement and be the first to go.
Families in affluent countries are having less and less children, so overpopulation will level off in the near future. But the one and only argument for abortion is personal autonomy - no government anywhere should ever dictate what we can and cannot do with our bodies. The life or not life argument is up to the mother, the end.
Abortion is neither wrong nor right. It is simply a course of action. One of billions of choices that we as humans make. It is the world we live in that decides the weight and alignment of these choices based off their beliefs, "facts", gut instinct, or just how they happened to fall out of bed that day. One thing I will say is that the world is coming down around us, but far too many are preoccupied with blind ambitions, and others are too preoccupied on keeping the others blind.
The way humanity thinks and the way we see ourselves in the universe has to change dramatically, or the race will not survive. Humanity will fall apart and die out, the only legacy left behind being the particular way the atoms will blown apart when this planet is taken by the sun by how we've shifted things around during our painfully short existence..
the overpopulation problem is obvious from a statistical point of view alone. there's no denying that we will eventually outgrow and consume this planet or cause irrepairable harm to it, snuffing out life as we know it. mother earth will then take a big sigh of relief and start to heal herself...or, like kordesh says...eventually be consumed by our sun. unfortunately, crisis precipitates change...and that's what it will take...let's just hope it's not too late. PRO-CHOICE all the way. Dope track too!
Your arguement that overpopulation is a problem is indeed true. The answer, however, lies nowhere near abortion. Even though you wanted to leave morals out, abortion is far less moral than the neutering of 1/3 of the male gender which also would be a viable answer. All in all, I just say use your rubbers. Also, you need more Polanedm. Also c*cks.
not funny, but true...and interesting. but NOT funny therfore 4 stars for u.
Also I have the answer. Stop f*cking(or at least use a condom eh?) Less people have sex, less people are born, human population doesn't increase as dramatically anymore. I win! Give me money and control of the planet please, k thanks.
