My Open Letter To Sega Of Europe
This is my open letter to Sega Of Europe. I know it's pretty much copypasta of what everyone eles sent (excluding the trolls who produce the lulz), but meh.

if you want to contact me, you can email my YTMND email. that's why max put it there. I have very good spam control on my Gmail account, and I want to keep it that way. sorry.

Phoenix Wright music is reason enough for a 5.

This is what people should be doing instead of spamming Sonic boards.

I also want this to be proof that, although we joke around and do immature things, that we as YTMND users can take things civily and mature matters, and still manage a decent OMGWTFBBQz level.

Gotta love net neutrality. On a side note, YTMNDs are protected by the US Copyright law because they are considered as parody.

next time you write a "formal" letter to a company, take a little more than 5 minutes and make good points...

Wow, you are quite retarded. Just because a.) nobody else sued doesn't mean that they don't have the right to b.) you sent a letter that is "civil" do you deserve a response c.) you wrote a letter are you now entitled to waste our time and hurt our brains with your stupidity.

allright...where's your letters then?

Nowhere. And they're just as effective as yours. The notice sent to max was posturing. They threaten legal action, most sites will remove content. There is very little chance of an actual lawsuit as they know that they have next to no chance of winning, but the threat of the costs of a lawsuit is enough to get what they want most of the time.

Your letter hurts my brain more and more every time I read it. God, just stop.

The fact that I made an effort counts. I know my letter is pretty much nothing to the corporate scum that is SEGA, but at least I made an effort to speak out, and at least I tried standing up. If no one stood up, everyone would be pushed down like bowling pins. I know I'm nothing more than a single tooth in a blade, but if you take away all the blades, you have no teeth, and thus have no offense.

Furthermore, NO U.

You think a lot more of yourself than you should. Rather than thinking of yourself as a single tooth in a saw, think of yourself as a single rock in a pond. You aren't going to put out the fire. Why? Because you're a rock. Rocks don't put out fires. You're irrelevant. You made an effort that had a 0% possible success rate. You're merely performing exercises in futility. Here's how you win: Max reads the letter, does nothing. Game, set, match. They have no incentive to keep trying, so they won't.

At least you did something... I guess. The letter could have been much better but, meh. And to Korf41, that was the gayest Goddamned analogy I've ever read in my life. Please die of 12 horrible diseases.

But you did forget that the reason they're suing us specifically is because we portray Sonic badly.

Well, that was many times better than DZK's response to SEGA. Well done. :)

your letter could have been a lot better written. it exposed ytmnd's weaknesses and not its strengths, you offer up deviantart as a sacrifice and expose other potential legal actions to a hostile lawyer. whats to stop him getting on the phone to those companies. stick to ytmnds strengths next time like how segas reputation and sales will drop. thats their weakness.

Why did you give them the idea to sue deviantart? Anyway...The part mentioning about other copywrighted things may not have been such a good idea though...

It's sad because Max sold out and this is now a "For Profit" site. Meaning, he can be sued.
