Also, about effort involved...I asked him, and he said the following:
"I used GIMP to edit 143 bmp files, I used virtualdub to preview the animation by opening the image sequence (so I could quickly make changes to a frame without re-compiling an entire gif to view it), and I used Gif Construction Set to make the final file. "
Good stuff, nice quality, and decent referrence. But honestly, I tried it in both IE7 and Firefox. IE7 plays it just fine, but Firefox doesn't load the animation at all, no matter how many times I refresh. So I don't know what you Firefox fanboys are smoking, but I don't see the magic. Nice work in any case.
