I don't listen to anything close to metal. I have never been to any type of metal concert. I hate the sound of it. So I really have no idea what type of mosh pits would go with what type of metal. Is death metal the one where the singer is basically burping into the mic? Why do people think that is music?
You see, I agree pretty much with texaggie. Most of what people throw around the term "metal" for is a prog-influenced sh*t-fest where they basically just go randomly up and down a scale really fast and because it looks cool and not because it sounds good (I mean... music isn't an auditaury art at all... is it?)
