6/6/07 YTMND Garbage Day (Now with 100% more GARBAGEBAY)

So I've offended everyone by saying deleteing garbage sites will help with bandwidth. Of course the effect is minimal on money, but would still be quite useful for the community to weed out some of the many, many awful unoriginal sites. So come 6/6, del

The problem is this will save little space. The thing about it is, people willing to do this have YTMNDs that are aren't SO bad they need to be deleted. The problem is a HUGE portion of this website are people that come on YTMND for 3 minutes, take a picture of their friend off of FaceBook and slap an audio recording of them saying "LOSER!!" and throw it out there. They do not care about the rating or anything like that. Alot of users don't even watch YTMNDs, just make them. :/
maybe you dont understand the meaning of bandwidth consumption? sh*t can sit on the server's hard drives for years and no one will care. each site takes up like 1 mb. that means if u can go to best buy and get a 300 gig HD for $100 (i dont know the accual prices at the moment) thats about 300,000 sites, or a fraction of a penny per site. its the thought that counts tho.

If YTMND gets bad enough, perhaps we should have a YTMND Rapture, where the best of the best YTMNDers are given the right to permanently post sites, while everyone else is given a limited account. They can view sites for free, but they can only have their sites posted for a week for free unless they pay for keeping it up longer, or if it gets a >4 average. After that point, they can only look at it themselves in their account page.
