Yes indeed. Also see: yougotadatewednesdaybaby.ytmnd.com, walkingtrashcan.ytmnd.com, & alsokukluxklam.ytmnd.com. It's something I've been experimenting with for a while now, animating one person and leaving the rest static. Because obviously if the entire frame was animated, nobody in the background would loop correctly. Also, I only use every 5th frame, which speeds up the animation and gives it a kind of stop-motion feel.

Sites like this are why I still think YTMND is great. It's got the right mix: a funny idea, an inane pop culture reference, a funny .gif, a good-looping .gif, good use of gif file size (only animating left side), funny and appropriate music, and mixed with funny sound clips from the movie with GOOD TIMING. I wish more sites had this kind of effort put into them.

It's not entirely accurate, no, but rather than saying "Good job photoshoping each individual frame to create a full motion video without any fuzzy edges or pixel jumping" I just used what is basically shorthand. Obviously, if it's an easy edit, I expect a good job, so I stated the obvious in a not so obvious way.
