I've only been on YTMND for a few days. This is my first impression of YTMND.

I think what it all boils down to is that people love drama. I'm sure that, on the inside, each and every one of us realizes that the whole fiasco has virtually no effect on our lives outside of browsing this one website that exists fundamentally for entertainment. Maybe an occasional user has a valid point here and there, but... None of it really matters. Repeat first sentence.
Maybe people don't want to have the users making ytmnds "featured." If people only care about the content then what does it matter who made it? If the site is good it doesn't need "exposure." People simply don't like it when things stand out. In this case, everyone is being told users are "better" than everyone else. Sure they might on average make sites that are high rated. But people obviously don't like being told "this user makes good sites that are probably better than those other ones"
Also, welcome to the internet. This isn't like the real world where people have rights or respect and things, it's dog eat dog period. it's always been unfair and as far as the forseeable future will continue to be. I'm not ragging on you being upset about it, just trying to encourage you to be less so, for your own health if nothing else.
ytmnd is gay...The way you get views is by submitting your site at 12:00am CST and just having it good enough to get to up and coming. After that it'll get top viewed. I always do that and usually I get top viewed because of that. i could even prove it. I could make a funny site on a non-pink alt account of mine and still get it to top viewed. Getting a site to top viewed depends most on when you submit.
I'm not talking about the hard point of the message itself. Non-featured users are always going to complain about the featured, but this one is more than your usual non-pink bitching. Is it not awe-inspiring when a practically newborn user comes in and pokes fun at the featured user system, as though he were one of the big swinging dicks of YTMND, and actually pulls it off in an entertaining fashion?

Also, also, "Micheal". We live in an era of spell checkers, online dictionaries, and spell checkers built into our Internet browsers, yet you still spelled Michael wrong. Throw in the fact that you had the name of the artist RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU when you made this YTMND, and I've come to the conclusion that you should be sued by dyslexics for defamation of character.
Storyline: Chronster makes a YTMND, no one likes because it's on recently created, usually because everything the is 1'd, someone comments that it's stolen and a bunch other one it as well. Then a featured user comes across, they notice it's poorly rated, they create it, and it's 5'd.
Also send my a link to the song, I want to listen to it 1000 times.
