i can get down with a compilation of interesting footage. if you really want to get super art f*ggy, get a hold of chris marker's "sans soleil" and make a gif juxtaposing images of japan with africa and throw the film's female french speaking narrator over an obscure ambient beat. Sans Soleil a part of the Criterion Collection, so you know watching it will only make you smarter, your hipster pants even tighter and your brown leather shoes even more rugged yet refined looking.
im not even making fun of anyone, i really think someone should do that. i own the criterion disc, but i was told at a club in boston that im not a hipster, so im not allowed to make hipster sites. if someone can define me within a social subcategory, i'll start making the sites. i really need to know myself better first.
